More about the EsKalometer®

01.

The EsKalometer® is the most accurate tool in the escalator industry for testing the vertical impact, horizontal impact and skirt switches of an Escalator.

02.

The Basic Package

The EsKalometer® is a comprehensive testing solution, including a rolling case weighing about 40 pounds for easy mobility, both vertical and horizontal impact testing as well as skirt switch testing.  The included digital force scale measures in 0.5 pound (0.2 kilogram) increments and digital readout measures total run-out in 0.0005 inch (0.1 millimeter) increments producing high resolution testing. With multiple comb simulator plates, the EsKalometer® can be easily adapted to any number of escalator brands.

03.

Annual Calibration Service or Exchange

Recalibration process using calibrated weights and a load frame. Exchange service of a pre-calibrated force scale.

04.

Dynamic Loaded Gap Test Kit with Data Logging

The use of this kit allows the EsKalometer® to be used to ensure the loaded gap  between step and skirt. These values can then be recorded via USB or serial port.

Easy to use software. Connects to Laptop via USB or Serial Port. Samples Twice per second (adjustable rate). Reports – Maximum, Minimum, Average, and Individual Sample Values. Displays a printable histogram and line graph.

05.

Mechanical Version Available

For use in areas where 2-way radios are used for communication. Digital force scales can be sensetive to radio interference, thus a traditional Dillon Dynamometer is used.
